Trinecke Zelezarny drops out of Ostrava acquisition race
Trinecke Zelezarny (TZ), the hot favourite to acquire ArcelorMittal Ostrava, has ruled itself out of the bidding process after submitting an indicative offer in June, a TZ spokesman tells Kallanish.
“After thorough analysis and careful consideration of all aspects, (TZ parent) Moravia Steel and Trinecke Zelezarny concluded that they would not submit a binding bid for the ArcelorMittal Ostrava plant,” the spokesman says.
