Transnet eyes 9 December iron ore line reopening
Transnet plans to reopen on 9 December the Saldanha iron ore export line following an accident last week that closed the line and forced the South African transport company to declare force majeure.
Anglo American, which owns the Kumba Iron Ore mine in Sishen, tells Kallanish Kumba expects to achieve its 2018 guidance of 43 million-44 million tonnes for output and 42m-44mt for sales despite the incident.
