Toyota’s production slides in April
In April this year, Japanese car manufacturer Toyota saw monthly production slide from the prior month after a robust March. Meanwhile, sales slipped at a faster pace, according to the company’s monthly report released on Thursday.
April standalone production fell by 6.3% over March to 756,254 units, Kallanish notes. The year-on-year loss in monthly output slowed from March’s 10.3% to 4%.
