Toyota’s plant in Russia put into conservation
Japanese carmaker Toyota’s plant in St. Petersburg, which previously suspended work, is undergoing a “conservation procedure”, says Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.
“After the stoppage of production, the plant is undergoing a conservation procedure; however, together with the St. Petersburg government, possible options for developing the production site are being worked out,” the message says.
