Toyota’s March production guidance surges
Toyota on Wednesday announced a surge in its production guidance for March from February, although the firm again apologized for repeated adjustments due to Covid-19 and shortages of semiconductors.
The company set global production volume for March at 900,000 units, compared with just 750,000 units planned for February, Kallanish notes.
Of that, production inside and outside of Japan are both expected to jump. The two figures would reach 350,000 and 550,000 unit…
