Toyota’s February auto production hikes
Leading Japanese car manufacturer Toyota’s auto production hiked further in February, seeing a year-on-year increase for a consecutive month, Kallanish notes.
The company’s standalone car production was 755,839 units worldwide in the reporting month, rising 9.7% month-on-month and 2% year-on-year. Of that, output inside and outside of Japan was up 11.2% and down 2.7% y-o-y respectively, at 281,521 and 474,318 units.
