Toyota’s auto production stabilises in January
Toyota, Japan's leading car manufacturer, saw stable January production compared with December last year. The figure also turned to rise year-on-year again after December’s decrease, Kallanish notes.
Monthly standalone car production at Toyota was 689,090 units worldwide, lower than the guidance of 700,000 units set for January. This was down just 0.9% month-on-month and up 8.8% y-o-y.
