Toyota revises November production guidance lower
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Motor on 21 October adjusted its November production plan lower because of the long-standing problem of a shortage of parts.
The company’s global production volume for November has been cut to 800,000 units, including 250,000 units in Japan and 550,000 units overseas, Kallanish notes.
On 10 August, Toyota had said it expected that the average monthly production over September-November would be 900,000 units.
