Toyota reveals annual production growth
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota saw production grow in 2022, despite the impact on parts supply resulting from Covid, increased demand for semiconductors and other factors, Kallanish notes.
In December, the company produced 695,433 cars worldwide, down 16.5% on-month and 13.2% on-year. Of that, production inside and outside of Japan was down 15% and 12.3% respectively, at 221,567 and 473,866 units.
