Toyota’s May production hits a six-month high
In May this year, Japanese car manufacturing giant Toyota saw its auto production reach a six-month high. Meanwhile, sales also rebounded and boosted year-to-date volumes to be higher than a year earlier, according to the company’s monthly report.
Monthly production rebounded 7.4% month-on-month to a six-month high of 812,191 units, though it was still 4.1% lower y-o-y, Kallanish notes. This was the fourth consecutive month of y-o-y decrease.
