Toyota lowers annual production guidance
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Motor has officially lowered its vehicle production forecast to 9.2 million units for the fiscal year ending on 31 March 2023 (FY2023), Kallanish notes from its quarterly financial report.
The company finally admitted at the end of October that annual production would be lower than its original target after holding out for months of production cuts. Now the target is 500,000 units lower than the initial figure.
