Toyota invests $803m in Indiana auto plant
Toyota is investing $803 million in its Princeton, Indiana, auto manufacturing plan to introduce two as-yet unannounced SUVs - which it describes as electrified and autonomous, Kallanish learns from a company release.
One of the SUVs will be branded as Toyota, while the other will be branded as Lexus. Toyota has not clarified what the drivetrain will be - electrifed could mean anything from full battery-electric through non-plug-in hybrid.
