Toyota cuts production for July
Toyota has decided to slash its July automobile output plan due to parts shortage resulting from the spread of Covid-19. It had earlier predicted such a move when it cut output in June for the second time days earlier, Kallanish notes.
Monthly output is scheduled for a reduction of 50,000 units from the number provided to suppliers at the beginning of the year. Global production volume in the month thus is expected to be approximately 800,000 units.…
