Toyota’s January production plan falls from December guidance
Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Motor announced on Thursday its production plan for January 2023, which is expected to be approximately 700,000 units, Kallanish notes.
Of that, Toyota intends to produce 200,000 units in Japan and 500,000 units overseas. Two lines will be suspended at two plants, from a total of 28 lines across 14 plants.
