Tosyali plans to build LSAW plant in Turkey

Turkish steelmaker Tosyali Holding will set up a 500,000 tonnes/year plant for longitudinal submerged arc-welded (LSAW) pipes for use in oil and gas pipelines, according to the Turkish Steel Producers’ Association (TCUD). Tosyali Holding’s unit Toscelik Spiral Boru Uretim Sanayi will launch the investment in 2016 with start of production seen in 2017, TCUD says in a statement seen by Kallanish.
