Tosyali commissions rebar mill at Algeria steelworks
Turkey's Tosyali Holding has inaugurated the start of operation of a rebar mill at its steelworks in Oran, northwest Algeria, Kallanish learns from the steelmaker.
The mill has the capacity to produce 1 million tonnes/year of rebar, Tosyali Holding says in a notice posted on its Twitter profile.
According to Algerian media reports, the mill will reduce imports of rebar by supplying the local market, and will export locally-produced steel.
