Tosyali Algerie sets DRI production record
Tosyali Algerie, the Algerian steelmaking complex, produced in 2020 more than 2.2 million tonnes of direct reduced iron using a single Midrex module, setting a new world record, Kallanish learns from the technology provider.
The DRI unit was started up at Tosyali Algerie in February 2019 and has a full capacity of 2.5m t/year.
