Tosyali Algeria starts exporting wire rod
The Algerian steelmaking unit controlled by Tosyali has started for the first time this week exports of wire rod, after successfully opening exports of other products such as rebar.
The first shipment was done to Senegal, of 3,000 tonnes of 9mm wire rod. Further shipments of the product – together with rebar – will be finalised in the coming days to Canada and Romania, the company says.
