Tokyo Steel upgrades EAFs
Japanese steelmaker Tokyo Steel has installed Q-ONE technology from Danieli Automation for equipment at its Kyushu plant. The system is expected to improve the digitalisation and optimisation of electric arc furnaces and ladle furnaces, especially the efficiency of refining crude steel, Kallanish notes.
