Tokyo Steel lifts product offers for June
Tokyo Steel Manufacturing Co. Ltd said last week it is lifting prices for all steel products by 9.5-17.6% in June, supported by strong overseas prices and an expected pick-up in local demand, Kallanish notes.
Prices of U-shaped steel sheet piles, and pickled & oiled coil will be JPY 115,000/tonne ($1,059), and JPY 120,000/t, respectively, representing increases of 9.5% and 17.6% compared to previous offers.
