Tokyo Steel cuts prices on coronavirus concerns
Japanese electric arc furnace steelmaker Tokyo Steel announced on 16 March that it would cut all steel prices in April by about 5.5-11.3% in response to a weak coronavirus-affected market. This is the first time in six months that the mill has cut steel prices, Kallanish notes.
