Tokyo Steel announces January prices, maintenance timetable
Tokyo Steel says it will maintain steel prices in January to ensure the price increase made in November can be fully accepted by the market.
This means prices for steel bars will stand at JPY 89,000/tonne ($779/t) and H-beams at JPY 111,000/t, Kallanish notes.
