TMK's American first-quarter welded pipe shipments skyrocket
Russian steelmaker TMK expects continued strength in its Americas division on the back of higher oil prices, Kallanish learns from the company’s fiscal first-quarter earnings.
TMK saw total pipe shipments in its Americas division rise 50% from Q1 2017 to Q1 2018, led by welded pipe with an increase of 218%. Seamless pipe shipments remained essentially level year on year with a 1% increase. Total shipments were 230,000 tonnes.
