TimkenSteel to halt melting, casting at Harrison
US specialty steel producer TimkenSteel plans to streamline and downsize some of its operations in 2021, the company says in its 2020 year-end earnings review.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the associated demand environment, TimkenSteel only operated its Harrison plant in Canton, Ohio, at utilisation rates below 25%.
