TimkenSteel raises tubing prices
US specialty steel producer TimkenSteel plans to increase its base prices for seamless mechanical tubing, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
TimkenSteel will raise base prices for hot-rolled and single-thermal-treated tubing by $40/short ton. Quench-and-tempered base prices will concurrently rise by $100/st.
The increases are effective will new orders and shipments slated for 1 October. All applicable surcharges continue to apply.
