TimkenSteel raises SBQ prices
TimkenSteel has raised its prices for all special bar quality (SBQ) steel products, Kallanish reports.
According to a notice made on 3 December, Ohio-based TimkenSteel announced that its base pricing on all SBQ products would be increased by $25/short ton. The increase is effective on all new orders not already covered by pricing agreements. Additionally, the increase is effective for all shipments beginning 4 January.
