TimkenSteel raises SBQ, seamless tube prices
US specialty steel producer TimkenSteel is increasing its base prices for all special bar quality (SBQ) and seamless mechanical products, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
Effective with new orders beginning 28 March and orders slated for shipment by 1 May, SBQ base prices will rise by a general $50/short ton. Quench-and-tempered SBQ products will see an increase of $90/st.
