TimkenSteel raises SBQ prices
US specialty steel producer TimkenSteel plans to increase its base pricing for special bar quality products by $50/short ton, Kallanish learns from a customer letter.
The increase is effective for shipments beginning 5 July and applies to all non-contract orders.
All applicable surcharges will continue to apply.
The amount of the increase closely mirrors an expected uptick in US scrap pricing.
