TimkenSteel raises SBQ, mechanical tubing prices
Canton, Ohio-based specialty steel producer TimkenSteel has raised its special bar quality (SBQ) base prices by $60/short ton, Kallanish learns.
According to a notice published by TimkenSteel, the latest increase will go into effect on all new SBQ shipments beginning on 6 September.
Along with this increase, TimkenSteel has raised its seamless mechanical tubing product pricing by $60/st effective on all new shipments beginning 3 January, 2022.
