TimkenSteel raises SBQ prices
US specialty steel producer TimkenSteel has raised its prices for all special bar quality (SBQ) steel products, Kallanish reports.
According to a notice made on 3 December, Ohio-based TimkenSteel announced that its base pricing on all SBQ products would be increased by $40/short ton. The increase is effective on all new shipments beginning 1 March.
