TimkenSteel raises bar, tube prices
US specialty steel producer TimkenSteel is upping its base prices for special bar quality products and seamless mechanical tubing by $40/short ton, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
The bar increase is effective with shipments beginning 1 October, while the tubing increase is effective with shipments beginning 1 January. All applicable surcharges will continue to apply.
