TimkenSteel lifts SBQ prices
US specialty bar and tube producer TimkenSteel is raising its prices for special bar quality (SBQ) products, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
TimkenSteel’s new base prices for SBQ will increase by $40/short ton, effective with shipments beginning 5 June. Applicable surcharges will continue to apply.
The increase affects only orders not already covered under extant pricing agreements.
