TimkenSteel announces second SBQ price increase
TimkenSteel has announced another price increase for special bar quality (SBQ) products, additive to its 25 February increase, Kallanish learns from a customer letter.
The new increase adds an additional $55/short ton for sizes below 3.5 inches in diameter and $40/st for sizes above 3.5 inches in diameter.
The previous increase was a blanket $40/st, effective with 5 April shipments.
The new increase will kick in for shipments slated for 3 May. …
