Thyssenkrupp to ramp up tinplate production with upgrade
Primetals Technologies has started up a modernised slitting line at thyssenkrupp Rasselstein’s steel plant in Andernach, the technology supplier says.
Primetals upgraded the Level 1 automation system and the drive system at slitting line No.1, Kallanish notes. Thanks to a standardised and adaptable automation solution, the shutdown period was minimised, and full production was ensured just three days after startup, it claims.
