thyssenkrupp to split steel from core business: reports

Thyssenkrupp wants to finalise negotiations over a merger with Tata Steel’s European operations by September, the end of its fiscal year. In the new company, thyssenkrupp intends to retain only a minority stake, with Tata taking the lead, according to a Handelsblatt report.
