Thyssenkrupp signs for future hydrogen network
By 2028, thyssenkrupp Steel is to be connected to the German hydrogen network, GET H2. The steelmaker has now signed a realisation agreement with transmission system operators Nowega, Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) and Thyssengas to that effect.
The connection will link the mill cluster in Duisburg with the GET H2 network and the Dutch import routes via the Vlieghuis border crossing point, Kallanish understands. The GET H2 pipeline coming from Lingen, in Lower Saxony…
