Thyssenkrupp sells mining business
In its latest move of spinning off non-core activities, thyssenkrupp AG has sold its Mining Technologies business unit to Danish company FLSmidth.
In a statement sent to Kallanish, the German conglomerate hails the sale as “a further important milestone in the realignment” of the group, which intends to hold on to its steelmaking and distribution businesses.
