Thyssenkrupp expands Romania auto components production
Thyssenkrupp has opened a new €60 million ($68m) automotive components plant in Sibiu, Romania, that will produce dampers for customers including Daimler, Jaguar Land Rover and Porsche.
“This is an investment not only in the targeted expansion of our European production network but also in newly obtained customer projects and new technologies,” thyssenkrupp automotive division chief executive Karsten Kroos says in a note seen by Kallanish.
