Thyssenkrupp expands hydrogen injection at blast furnace
Thyssenkrupp Steel has expanded the use of hydrogen to the entire blast furnace 9 at Duisburg, including the construction of a pipeline for testing the large-scale industrial use of hydrogen. This comes after it started in late 2019 injecting hydrogen in one of the tuyeres at the furnace.
