Thyssenkrupp connects Hohenlimburg to local power grid
One of thyssenkrupp Steel’s rolling mills has become the first German industrial plant to receive locally generated wind power through a direct connection, according to the company.
With green energy from four new wind turbines installed by project partner SL NaturEnergie, thyssenkrupp Hohenlimburg can now cover 40% of its average annual electricity requirements, Kallanish learns.
