thyssenkrupp and Salzgitter join climate protection foundation
thyssenkrupp AG and Salzgitter AG joined Stiftung 2°, the Foundation of German Businesses for Climate Protection, in December. The group was established in 2014, Kallanish notes.
The two companies are the first steel companies to support the foundation. Companies from steel-related organisations which joined the group earlier are recycling groups Interseroh and Alba as well as white goods producer Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte (BSH).
