Three Chinese steelmakers lower supply because of maintenance
Three major Chinese steel producers, Bengang, Angang and Nanjing Iron & Steel (Nangang) have announced their maintenance plans for September. It is estimated that in total they will halt around 910,000 tonnes of iron output, 290,000t of cold rolled steel output and 30,000t of hot rolled steel output, Kallanish notes.
