Three Chinese steelmakers carry out maintenance
Three steelmakers have recently announced plans to carry out or have carried out equipment maintenance work, and production will be affected to a certain extent, Kallanish notes.
Shougang Group started maintenance of the 1,580mm hot coil rolling mill on 29 June, and this will last for about 16 days. The No.1 blast furnace will also be overhauled for 15 days from 9 July, and a 2,160mm hot coil rolling mill will be overhauled for some eight days from 20 July. T…
