Three Handan steel mills to close by end-August
Three steel mills in northern China's Handan city totaling around 3 million tonnes/year of steel capacity have been ordered to stop production before the end of August. The order comes as authorities try to speed up the process of moving heavy industry from urban areas to industrial parks, Kallanish notes.
