Ternium invests in new HDG plant in Mexico
Latin American steelmaker Ternium, part of the Techint group, is to build a hot dipped galvanizing and pre-paint line in Pesquería, Mexico, the company says.
The Pesquería mill will have an annual production capacity of 420,000 tonnes and is expected to boost Ternium`s local production by almost 20%. This includes 300,000 tonnes/year of galv and 120,000 t/y of pre-painted capacity respectively. The new plant is planned to start operations in 2020.
