Tenaris, TMK push up energy tube prices
Two energy tube producers have announced big base price increases, a move buy-side sources are questioning in a historically weak demand environment.
Citing rising skelp costs, Tenaris is lifting base prices for its welded oil country tubular goods and line pipe products by $75/short ton. The increases are effective with all new orders.
