Tenaris plans Algoma Tubes restart
Tenaris plans to restart its Algoma Tubes facility in November, Kallanish learns from a company announcement.
The facility was idled in March “… due to the impact of unfairly traded imports and a prolonged industry downturn,” Tenaris says. About 120-150 union employees laid off as a result of the idling are expected to be recalled.
