Tenaris trials hydrogen at Dalmine mill reheating furnace
Pipemaker Tenaris is decarbonise its steelmaking process using hydrogen and has launched the first trial at its Dalmine mill in Bergamo, Italy, Kallanish notes.
This is the result of a six-month partnership with Snam and Tenova that aims to assess the effectiveness and dependability of hydrogen usage in the steel industry and other hard-to-abate sectors.
