Tenaris invests in Italian high-grade steel plant
Italy-based Tenaris Dalmine is investing in special steel production and carbon emissions reduction at its seamless tube mill in Dalmine, northern Italy.
The company has ordered from equipment maker Tenova a new meltshop, ladle furnace and a heat treatment furnace for special steel bars. The equipment will be commissioned by end-June, Kallanish learns from Tenova.
