Ten Hebei cities launch pollution reaction plans
Ten cities in Hebei province have now launched their heavy air pollution level II reaction plans since 4 November, according to China National Radio. Apart from Tangshan, which launched its reaction plan on 2 November, other cities include Handan, Xingtai, Langfang, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Hengshui, Dingzhou, Xinji and Cangzhou. These have all restricted steel and coke production, Kallanish notes.
